More Life Changing Fun (Chicago: Day 11)

Today, we talked about client experience, organization, and outsourcing/delegating. It was pretty exciting. I really liked the outsourcing part... now THAT sounds like a good idea! We had some great time together discussing how showing our personalities is so vital to how we relate to our clients. I can't wait (not really... I'd LOVE to stay here forever {also not really}!) to get home and begin using all the things we have discussed and putting them into action.

Before I came to Illinois, I had never been to Forever 21 (GASPS!) I know. Pretty sad. Well, since I had not experienced this greatness, Sarah, Sarah, and Steve decided that I definitely needed to go buy something there before I leave. Away we went. It is so neat there. I wandered around for two hours looking at stuff... they had so much! I did in fact purchase a shirt and accessories, but though I enjoyed their style/brand, I didn't find too much that I could/would wear. It was an interesting place. Anyways, a very good experience, which only got better as Sarah B. and I headed over to FlatTop Grill for some grub. FlatTop is a make-it-yourself stir fry restaurant. Basically, after you have written your name (or a made up name) on a provided stick, you put every ingredient you want in a bowl. For those who could have trouble with this many options, there are recommended recipes. Then you add a stick to further customize or enhance your order. The sticks are color coded and mean different things: blue=add bread; red=add shrimp; green=make into salad; yellow=make into soup; etc. It was so much fun to construct my own meal. After assembling your bowl, you leave it at the grill and when it is cooked it is brought to your table, very hot and delicious. YUM!! I highly recommend it.

With that, I'm off to conplete all my laborious chores...

Senior: Andrew

So we were informed on Monday that Andrew needed his senior portraits. Let me back up real fast. When I say 'we' I mean 'Sarah.' But when I say 'Sarah,' I am obviously included... it's a given. Okay. We're getting ready to head out and two strange people whom I have never met show up and introduce themselves as Sarah and Steve, some of 'our' friends. Apparently 'we' sent out a notice to all 'our' photo buddies and they all came to shoot Andrew. There were definately five photographer at Andrew's senior shoot. It was so much fun.

Here are some of my images... I didn't take too many because Sarah did a bunch of me and the other Sarah was using my battery. Enjoy!

Welcome to the New Blog!

Well, welcome to the new blog! Thanks to Sarah the Great, I am very excited to be launching! Hope you like it! Let me know...

While in St. Louis, I had the privilege of second-shooting alongside Sarah at a fabulously fun wedding. I greatly enjoyed being able to capture a glimpse of Doug and Krista's love for each other and for life. Enjoy!

PS Michael Buble is my newst favorite thing... I love his music!
